Sliding Sash Windows and Doors for a Historic Building

Case Study

R J Parry had the privilege of manufacturing a large number of hardwood sliding sash windows and hardwood doors, playing a key role in restoring this beautiful building to its former glory.

Windows:
All windows were crafted from high-quality hardwood. The bottom sashes are hung on white spiral balancers and are fitted with our standard satin chrome locking fitch fasteners, angel vent stops, and sash lifts. Designed to match and replace the existing windows, they also provide a higher U-value for improved energy efficiency.

Doors and Frames:
R J Parry also manufactured two hardwood sidelight door frames and external doors. These doors were meticulously crafted to match the existing design, featuring six raised and field panels. They were finished with a nutwood and nutmeg stain, achieving a rich dark brown colour.

This project exemplifies our commitment to quality and attention to detail, ensuring that the historic character of the building is preserved while enhancing its functionality and efficiency.
