We are pleased to have been awarded once again the
Acclaim Accreditation Health and Safety certificate, which we have held for a number of years. This is an award that is supported by the Health and Safety Executive and guarantees members follow specific health and safety assessments and procedures. Acclaim is a member of
‘Safety Schemes in Procurement’ (SSIP) which is widely recognised within the construction industry and helps to give confidence to our customers that we are following the necessary regulations set out by the government as part of the Constructions Design and Management regulations of 2015.
This certification if one of a host of accreditations that Parry Joinery have received to ensure we are following the correct procedures associated with the work and products we sell. Our
FSC certification for example is an important award that ensures that the FSC timber that we buy and sell is fully certified and our compliance to this award is strictly monitored with a chain of custody audit each year. FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) products are sourced from forests that are sustainably and responsibly managed and this certification is especially important to our more environmentally conscious customers, be it in the public and private sector.
The
PEFC (Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification) is a similar certification that also works with the forestry supply chain to promote good practice and ensure that timber and non-timber forest products are produced with respect for the highest ecological, social and ethical standards. By having this certification, when requesting PEFC customers can be reassured that these products are from sustainably managed forests.
The accreditations above are just some of the many awards that the company is proud to have received over the years and that highlight the importance placed by Parry Joinery both on health and safety and environmental responsibility.
