Another of our specialities at R J Parry Joinery Ltd, are reception desks and office furniture, which we have been commissioned to manufacture for a range of purposes and for a variety of businesses and organisations throughout Chester, Cheshire and North Wales. Reception desks are bespoke items that are custom manufactured to the specifications of our clients and can be created to fit exactly into the space they have available. They can be created using a range of different materials from laminates, wood veneers, solid wood, solid surfaces such as
Corian and MDF and can even incorporate glass if required. These unique items can also be created in a range of
shapes and colours and incorporate storage and or display space to suit the style required.
We have manufactured reception desks and specialist office furniture for a number of organisations such as schools, colleges, hospitals, medical centres, nursing homes and Doctor’s surgeries as well as for a number of businesses including veterinary clinics, retail units and caravan parks. This bespoke joinery work has been carried out throughout Chester, North Wales, North Cheshire, Lancashire and Cumbria and even further afield where the client and project requires.

We have also manufactured reception and office joinery items for clients at Chester University and Cumbria Council. One of our more high profile clients, the Chester based British designer
Nick Munro requested the manufacture of a unique bold red lacquered display counter which was used to show off his unique kitchen accessory designs.
The manufacture of these items will often involve a solid timber core and the outside faces will be made from a post formed or veneer laminated MDF with exposed lipped edges, timber framed substrate or lacquer finished rounded edgings. Security glass can also be incorporated should the design and client require it.
