The new CAMHS unit at the Countess of Chester Hospital opens providing in patient and day patient care for young people with severe and/or complex mental health issues.
Parry Joinery was involved from the early stages of the contract with the Main Contractor, providing technical advice to deliver doors and frames to the unit which are durable, hygenic, and anti ligature Safehinge Ironmongery.
The
FSC/PEFC oak laminated faced doors and beech frames were manufactured to various specifications in relation to their location within the unit, this included:-
- Safehinge ironmongery
- Duralux panels routered and fitted
- Door top alarms complete with electrically modified hinge parts
